AI agents don’t browse software they call APIs. As the world shifts from humans operating software to AI agents orchestrating workflows, APIs become the universal language through which AI systems discover, invoke, and chain capabilities together. Just as HTTP became the connective tissue of the web economy, APIs (and increasingly MCP servers) are becoming the connective tissue of agent ecosystems.
